Johnny Valley Ranch has year-round access and sits at the corner of two county maintained roads, County Road 90 and County Road 209 The ranch is located about 7 miles east of paved State Hwy 9 and about 35 minutes southeast of La Junta, Colorado. Denver is 3.5 hrs – Colorado Springs – 2.5 hrs and Pueblo – 1.5 hrs. from the Ranch. It’s location near La Junta, Colorado and the Hwy 50 Arkansas River corridor is strategically close to several livestock sale barns.

Johnny Valley Creek is a seasonal and wet weather creek which bisects the ranch.
Water
There is one well with a submersible pump serving the farmhouse and numerous livestock tanks via an underground pipeline. The well is not permitted. There is a windmill located at the northern end of the ranch that is also operational. There are numerous other wells and an additional windmill that may be able to be reworked and put back into service on the ranch. The operational well and windmill produce ample water to serve the stocking capacity on the ranch.
