Location and Accessibility
Enchanted Hills Ranch is remote and very private, yet within 35-45 minutes of both La Junta, Colorado and Las Animas, Colorado. The ranch is also easily accessible from the major Colorado cities without crossing mountain passes. Denver is 3.5 hrs. – Colorado Springs – 2.5 hrs. and Pueblo – 2 hrs. from the Ranch.
Recreational and Hunting
Located in the Plains Unit 137, this unit allows for unlimited “C” tags for either sex elk rifle hunting and extended season dates you will not find anywhere else in the country. The season is a full five months (September 1 through January 31). If you are a bow hunter you can grab OTC licenses for either sex elk September 2nd-30th. SE Colorado is known for its excellent mule deer hunting especially on these wooded ridge and canyon ranches. Additionally, because of the ranch size it will qualify for enrollment in the Landowner Preference Program allowing for additional mule deer tags each year.
